Peter Bonner and his assistant arrived almost exactly on time although he had warned me that he might be a little delayed, so that was a good start.He installed 3 wall lights and 2 ceiling lights. In addition, he mended a damaged wall socket and corrected another one which was upside-down free of charge. He was efficient and polite and his fees were reasonable.I can recommend this firm of electricians.

Pete responded promptly to my job posting. We had a number of responses but his was the first and the most detailed. He came to the house to provide an estimate and arrived when he said he would. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and gave us a feeling of confidence in his ability to do the job well. Some of the work required him to diagnose problems with our circuits and we were very happy with the way he went about it. He explained what options we had and what the benefits of the different options were. We actually also asked him to do a number of other jobs that we had. He completed all the work we wanted, on the date we agreed, for the agreed price. We were very satisfied with the service and will certainly use Pete’s services again in the future. I would definitely recommend him if you are wondering who to choose!

We had installed two ceiling lights incorrectly and after some electrical failure we found Peter through MyBuilder. He arrived on his day off and instantly knew what the problem was. The work took 20 minutes but Peter stayed an extra 40 minutes and offered to check other fittings in our property free of charge. The work was carried out efficiently, very professionally and cleanly. We are now considering having him back to change our fuse board and would recommend him to anyone looking for electrical work. Peter and Boss Electrical Services have provided us with a fantastic service. We were a little concerned in having our electrics check as what might be found. Peter explained all the results in terms that I could even understand. He advised all the different options we had but we were under no obligation to have the work done with them. We decieded to have the lighting circuits rewired. Boss Electrical were very polite and curtious. They cleaned up after themselves and all chasing was filled so we weren’t left with holes anywhere. Finding a reliable electrician these days is a real challenge. We tried for a while with little success, but then met Richard Austin. We were impressed by the very professional itemized quotation (unlike some we received.) I wanted someone who was registered with the NICEIC. (Richard’s registration is D603032.) I also wanted someone who I could trust to work in the house on their own without me being around. Richard is an honest local tradesman who cares about meeting his customers expectations.
